The 2018 season includes:
- Mendelssohn on Mull Festival 2018
The festival, founded by renowned violinist Leonard Friedman in 1988, takes its name from Mendelssohn’s visit to the Western Isles in the 1820s, inspiring him to write his Hebrides Overture. The festival features young musicians, coached by experienced mentors. Concerts are spread across the island and are free to attend. The 2018 festival runs from Saturday June 30 to Saturday July 7. Dates and venues of concerts are still to be announced but usually include free concerts on the Ross of Mull and Iona.
- Mull Half Marathon & 10K in Saturday August 4 2018
Friendly event for all levels and abilities starting at Craignure. Also junior road races for under 12s and 12-17s. Deadline for entries is Thursday August 2. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the half. How to enter
