Originally a working croft, today the cottage offers comfy self catering accommodation on Mull for six.

The Cottage

Self catering Mull cottage Traigh Mhor was built as a traditional working croft and has been rebuilt and refurbished by our family over the last 40 years.

Packed with charm and character, this three-bedroomed cottage offers cosy and comfy accommodation for self-catering on Mull with stunning views of the bay, the wilderness of Burg and Ben More, Mull’s highest peak.

It’s a perfect holiday home for families, nature and wildlife lovers or visitors looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat. The old cottage is simple but homely. It sleeps six and is well-equipped with all the main facilities.

Traigh Mhor is located in the hamlet of Eorabus at Ardtun and lies just over a mile from the village of Bunessan and about six miles to the Iona Ferry and trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles.

The cottage offers excellent facilities for self-catering on Mull and is perfectly placed to explore the spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches on the Ross of Mull, as well as further afield.

We have three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, all with views of the bay. The kitchen has a traditional cast iron range cooker and a separate electric hob and oven. The living room has an open fire for logs and peat plus oil-fired central heating. There is a bathroom, a separate loo, and a shower in the utility room.
