Guests' comments

Guests’ comments at Traigh Mhor self catering cottage are really important as we want our visitors to have a great stay inside, and out. Our old cottage offers comfy and cosy Isle of Mull accommodation for holidays. We’re not perfect … we don’t have en-suites or the latest HD television. However, we offer great views and lots of character, as well as a homely, warm welcome.

But don’t just take our word! Read what our guests say about their stay. Here’s a selection…

I had a really good week on Mull – it’s a fantastic place. The cottage was wonderful.  Really relaxing, it had everything I needed.

We had another very enjoyable stay – overall, the weather was kind to us! The cottage was well-equipped as before and very warm and snug.  We hope to be back next year!

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a simply wonderful week in your lovely cottage.  I am just cut out for that kind of lifestyle no shops or mobile just gallons of pure fresh stunning countryside and sea and day long outdoor exercise…. the most refreshing holiday ever.

We had a lovely time at the cottage, thank you. It was very comfortable and so peaceful. The weather was pretty good. It was changeable but was fine when we needed it to be! We explored both locally on the Ross (the beaches by Erraid were magical),  and across to Iona (it is always lovely to visit). we also went on a boat trip to see the white tailed eagles on Loch Na Keal – it was a long drive but well worth it!

KQ, Isle of Wight, August 2017

We had the MOST wonderful week.  We were very lucky with the weather (at the beginning anyway) and really had a perfect week.  The cottage was wonderful as usual, and we loved our stay there.

NA, North Yorkshire, October 2016

We had a wonderful two weeks in your cottage and on Mull, with some stunningly sunny autumn days! We spent many hours cycling and beach combing and walking.

We had a lovely week in Mull. We had some great walking weather, at times very warm. The cottage was great, had everything we needed and more. The location is beautiful, we weren’t ready to leave at the end of our week – still lots more to explore! We would like to definitely return next year.

I’ve had a fantastic week in Traigh Mhor. I’ve been out walking everyday, today it was to Scoor where I was lucky enough to see an adder basking in the sunshine ! Also managed a decent photo of an otter at Lochbuie just magic. As for the cottage itself, loved it, very well equipped and cosy. I hope to use the cottage at some point next year as the Ross has been a revelation , I even managed to see the Hen Harrier although only once maybe next year he’ll not be as elusive. Thanks for the chance to enjoy a great break on the best island anywhere!

D O’N, Fife, September 2016

We had a lovely time. The weather was mixed (as expected!) but it certainly didn’t stop us doing anything. The house was lovely. Some great additions since our last stay (when the aga was still in place). We very much appreciated the open fire! We hope to stay again at some point.
