Booking Terms

All bookings for Traigh Mhor self catering cottage Mull should be made in writing. We request a 25 per cent deposit on booking to secure your week, with the balance paid six weeks before arrival.

Cancellations

If you have to cancel your stay with us, please let us know as soon as possible. We will re-advertise the week and if we can successfully re-let, we will happily offer a refund.
While we have a successful track record of re-letting, sometimes this is just not possible due to very short notice perhaps because of bad weather, travel problems or ill health. We would therefore recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover cancellation and to reclaim your payments.

Bedding & Towels

Kitchen tea towels and bed linen is provided and all the beds are made up on arrival. However, guests need to bring their own towels for the bath/shower/beach.

Sorry: no pets or smoking

We have a no-smoking policy in the cottage, and are unable to welcome pets in the peak summer season.

Fire & Stairs

Please note that we have an open fire (with guard)and an open staircase in the living room. While we are family-friendly and very happy to welcome children, we would ask all visitors to be aware of the risks and to take sensible safety precautions, especially guests bringing young children.

The week in Mull could not have been better. Astonishingly, we must have had the best three days in a row of this dreadful summer while we were in Mull. We were able to do all the things we planned – Iona, the fossil rocks, Carsaig as far as the Nun’s Cave, and a trip to Staffa. We saved Tobermory for the only wet and stormy day. Staying at Traigh Mhor brought back many happy memories for us all.
